Our second project may truly bring water to those who need it most. The drought in east Africa has left villages in Ethiopia without rain for over two years. Living Water International is ramping up efforts in what may be some of their most life-saving work there to bring water to those who are dying without it.

Project #1: New Well in Butajira (Ethiopia)
STATUS: 100% funded, operation complete
This is the well in Butajira, Gurage, Mesker, Ethiopia that we funded! Before we helped build this well, this community in Butajira had to walk 3 kilometers to a nearby river for water. Now 400 people have a pump that gives them safe clean water right by their homes.
